I have always been fascinated with the arts. Since early childhood film has captivated me. Not only for the artistic masterpieces that they are, but for the technical triumphs behind each one.

By age 12 I had watched and rewatched countless behind-the-scenes footage, but none had captured my attention as much as Pixar's Making Nemo. This short documentary followed the voice actor Alexander Gould in trip through each department in the production pipeline of the feature film Finding Nemo. Up until then I had not even the slightest clue how an animated film was made. Artists and technology geniuses all under one roof creating films that warmed and inspired so many. It didn't take me long to realize that an animator was my dream job.
